What is the purpose of Healthy Living week?


To make everyone at Dublin Business School more aware of how to live a healthier lifestyle

This week is our healthy living week, a great week to kick start your February after you all broke your new years resolutions and drank every other Saturday during “dry January”. We have loads of stuff on this week so get involved, get active and make a change to your lifestyle and diet!

 

Monday
 

On Monday we have a nap room all day in CH 4.1 You can relax chill and sleep without the horrifying thought of Adam getting a snap of you up on Facebook! No lights, relaxing music no stress, what more could you want? We also have a free salsa lesson on in the common room from 1-1:30, and to finish Monday off we have our usual Monday movie night with carrot sticks and humus (Dominos might also make an appearance but shh)

 

Tuesday
 

Tuesday we have free Yoga in carmelite house from 4:45-5:45pm, a great way to relax, and loosen up ahead of the rest of the week. We will also have free fruit in the common room from 11 o’clock, bananas, grapes, melons, apples and lots more, get in your five a day! 

 

Wednesday
 

Wednesday we have a walk through St. Stephens green with some of our staff members dogs, it’s important to get at least 30 minutes of exercise every day, walking is good or you could go one better and go swimming with our swim club at 7pm in Markievicz swimming club. 


 
 
Thursday
 

Thursday we have the gravedigger bus tour which is 100% not to be missed! We leave DBS at 7pm on Thursday tickets are available all week from the SU and Student Services. A spooky Thursday evening followed by a fantastic pint (of water) in the Gravediggers Pub.


 
Friday

Friday we will be running a leisurely cycle around the Phoenix park with the SU. You’ll get in that all important exercise as well as seeing the truly unique sights the phoenix park has to offer including a massive herd of deer! A great week lined up so everyone get on board and get active this week, who knows you might just learn to love carrot sticks come Friday!

  • SET YOURSELF GOALS AND TARGETS
  • ENJOY YOURSELF
