This year, exams will be held in the RDS from the 25th to 29th April inclusive.

During these days, (Tuesday 25th– Saturday 29th), there will be very few exams in DBS, with the exception of  PMC exams. Exams on all other dates will be in DBS.

For the benefit of those unfamiliar with the RDS, it is an external venue that we will have access to for this duration.

• Take buses 4, 7 or 7a
• Fare with Student Leap Card = €2.05
• Walk to  South  Frederick Street, Nassau Street  where buses are (Bus Stop Number 405)
• Get off after 7 stops (Merrion Road)
• From there, it is a 5 mins walk
• To get the accurate time of buses arriving download the Dublin Bus App. 

• Walk to Tara Street Dart Station (15mins walk)
• Get off after  4 stops (Sandymount Train Station)
• From there, it should be  7 mins walk
•  Fare with Student Leap Card = €1.73

•  Approx 3.7km and 50 mins walk from DBS Castle House

• Limited Parking available at  RDS
• Capped rate at €6 per day

•  A taxi from DBS to the RDS can cost around  €8-€15. 

• Check Venue on map online (Exams Timetable Page).
• RDS Exams are held only at Hall 8a/8b in the Simmonscourt Pavilion.
• Bring your Student Card or Valid Photo ID.
• Each student will have an assigned seat for each exam. (Seat assignments will change for each exam.)
• Seat assignments available before each exam in Hall 8a.
• Make sure you arrive at least 15 mins before exams!
