Some students have being contacted via telephone by person(s) claiming to be from The Indian Embassy demanding payment to prevent deportation.
THIS IS ATTEMPTED FRAUD. The Embassy of India never asks for payments via telephone.
If you receive one of these calls please DO NOT AGREE TO A PAYMENT. Terminate the call immediately.
