The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar  has issued a statement today that all schools and third level colleges are to close from 6pm this evening 12th March until 29th March in light of recent developments and to minimise further the  spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). There will be no classes from 6pm this evening 12th March  and tomorrow 13th March to allow us some time to activate our contingency plans. Online and remote teaching will commence with effect from Monday 16th March 9am.
