What's on next week? Mental Health Week 2021 - Jan 18th

by Adam Crowther | Jan 15, 2021

This coming week is our 'Mental Wellness Week' at Dublin Business School. This important week is focused on raising awareness around mental health and promoting a 'culture of positive wellbeing' throughout our student body. Additionally, this week is a chance for everyone at DBS to build some new skills, while focusing on themselves, as we reimagine what wellbeing is together – during Covid-19 and beyond. Laura Stafford, Students' Union President;

Dear students,

Happy New Year to all of our returning students, and a very warm welcome to all our new students who are joining us from this semester and beyond. With this coming week being our 'Mental Health Week', there is no better way to start off the new term than by making sure you look after yourself. Whilst all of our classes are online right now, I encourage you all to make the most of the situation, embrace the challenges, learn more about yourself and try empathise with those around you.

My student hack is to use this Mental Health Week to focus on yourself! Get lots of fresh air and to try and get out and get moving. There are lots of great workshops, roundtable talks and social events on this coming week, so get involved, meet some new people and have some fun. It is a new year, a new semester and also a new start.

Go be great!
