Hi everyone,

We are kicking off our 'RAG Week' on Monday and for those of you who don’t know, RAG stands for raising and giving! Here at DBS we are always looking to give back to the community, and this year our chosen charity is FOCUS Ireland, with all of the proceeds from our events and activities going towards their great work. 

There is a lot to look forward to throughout this week, so get in the spirit and pay something forward. Whether its raising funds with our team or being supportive of someone close to you, try to make a difference and give to those who need it most this week. 

My top tip this week would be to do something outside of the classroom and step out of your comfort zone. Now that were settling into the term, it’s easy to get lost in zooms and assignments, so try to make a conscious effort to challenge yourself. You’ll be surprised how much you might learn. We have plenty of options to choose from and the Students' Union are always ready to welcome you.   

As always, take care of yourselves! It will help you, give the world the best of you, instead of what’s left of you.
