Legend of the week March 5th - Adam Smith

Each week we highlight a student from DBS who has been an absolute 'LEGEND' within our Student Body. These people have been working hard to make our college a great place.

This weeks legend of the week - Adam Smith!

Flash back…

Looking back what would you do differently in your life so far linking that to now…

“I used to be a very shy person a couple of years back which is hard to believe but I say I would not listen to other people’s opinions as much and focus on what I was doing and what made me happy.”

Winning!

What was one of your most proudest moments?

“Definitely making the first 4 episodes of my web series new nations and my first feature film southbound skulls that I have been making through the whole pandemic.”

Spill the tea…

What is the biggest OMG moment you have ever had?

“It would have to be back in 2016 my uncle was working on a tv show called into the badlands and I got to visit the set and meet all of the actors it was a crazy day for sure.”

Work it!

What do you want to do after college and how has DBS helped you to get there?

“I would definitely like to do a variety of things from directing acting and possibly turning my podcast into a talk show for tv. DBS has helped me in a lot of ways in that sector from teaching me in everything to do with film and DBS has also enabled me to make so many new friends and some with similar interests with me which is amazing.”

Finally…

What’s one message would you like to put across to your fellow students through this time.

“I would say that it always seems impossible until it’s done that quote has definitely gotten me through though times the past couple weeks and it’s good to keep hopeful because there is a light at the end if the tunnel.”
