Congratulations to the men's football team who enjoyed a win on Wednesday over NUI Maynooth on Wednesday afternoon at Stella Marris. DBS started the game very well and our guys took an early lead over NUIM, when the club captain coolly converted a penalty in the first half. NUIM equalized from a corner kick just before the half time whistle, which set the game all square at the break. 

The second half was very tight, with both teams having their share of chances. Over very own Paul and Erugrul both had some great chances to take the lead, but the deadlock was broken with just five minutes remaining, when man of the match Nathan Bell kept his cool and beat the Maynooth keeper with a fast counter attacking 1v1 opportunity.
