An update from the Event Management Class at DBS:

Hi All

Our BA Marketing and Event Management part time evening class are hosting as part of our semester 1 a free Christmas Wellness event on Tuesday 7th December at 6.15 and will finish by 8pm. This event is geared towards mental health awareness and coping skills with a specialist coming in to share great tips as a well known psychologist in Dublin. We wish to extend a welcome given it can be a very lonely time of year for all students and in particular International students living in Ireland, those not being able to get home due to Covid restrictions. We want to help everyone feel they can share their experience or gain some tips that will help all  facing high stress, mental health concerns, etc. through connecting with your fellow DBS student community who are sitting side by side with you in class. 

Throughout the night we will also have music, a DJ, a raffle, brilliant prizes and a very special guest...the one and only comedian Joe Rooney who starred in Father Ted. Joe will be speaking on behalf of SOSAD who raise awareness for people struggling in Ireland and as he says himself, we might get a few jokes out of him too.
