Degree Parchment or Certificate Requests

Please note DBS does not hold duplicate copies of your degree certificate. If you have already received a copy of this at your graduation ceremony, please contact QQI for proof of your certificate. 

If you never received your degree parchment, please contact the relevant Programme Coordinator by email with the following details*:

  • Your Full Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Student ID (if known)
  • Course Studied & Graduation Year

You can arrange to collect this at DBS Castle House reception desk. Alternatively, we can organise postage by registered post service. Please review the relevant fee located here.

*Please note we require these personal details to comply with data protection regulations to verify your student account. The parchment can be collected from the DBS reception desk, or alternatively we can send send this via registered post to your home. Please note the relevant fee for this request. 

DBS Retention policy states that any parchments on file in excess of 5 years will be eliminated. 

Transcript Requests

Please contact the relevant Programme Coordinator (full list available here) for a copy of your transcript. We can only accept this request via email for GDPR reasons. Please include the following details in your email: 

  • Your Full Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Student ID (if known)
  • Course Studied & Graduation Year

The fee breakdown for transcript requests can be found here. Please allow 5-7 working days for this request to be processed. Older records may take longer for us to review.  

Verification of Education at DBS

Please contact the relevant school in DBS via email only for verification of education documentation. The following details must be supplied within the email. Please note the relevant fee, payable here either by the candidate or the employer. 

  • Candidates Full Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Student ID (if known)
  • Course Studied & Graduation Year
  • Receipt of Payment
  • Signed Consent To Release This Data by the Candidate
