Hi everyone,

We are delighted to announce the official launch of our ‘Making A Difference’ Christmas collection for 2023. This year we will be gathering essentials for the Capuchin Day Centre, who help and support some of the most vulnerable people across the city. We hope you can help us in Making A Difference to other people's lives this Christmas. 

Your donations will be distributed directly to the Capuchin Day Centre and will be issued to the homeless and to families who find themselves struggling on a daily basis. You can drop off any of the donations from Monday November 20th at any of the specified locations below. Our collection drive will run up until the end of the semester (December 15th).

Our staff and students have always been very generous with their charitable donations and collections (please see the images below), and we would like to keep up this tradition of giving back to those who need it most. You can also donate directly with the Capuchin Day Centre, by clicking here.

Items that you can donate

• Perishable Goods: Tea, Coffee, Pasta, Tinned Foods, treats such as selection boxes,

• Biscuits and light snacks 

• Toiletries: Shower Gel, Shampoo, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste

• Baby Supplies: Baby Nappies, Baby Clothes, other children's essentials (must be new)

• Clothes: Hats, Gloves, T-Shirts (can be new or second-hand in good condition), Socks, Underwear (must be new) for all ages including adults 

The collection points in DBS are

• Castle House - Student Services & SU Hub (4th Floor)

• Aungier Street - HR Department (Ground Floor) & the Library (2nd Floor)
