The Irish Government has updated the list of designated "emergency brake" countries with effect from 29th August 2021. The full list of countries on the list are: 

South America- Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador (passengers who are not fully vaccinated will enter quarantine starting from 4:00 on Tuesday 31st August). Peru

Africa- Currently no countries on this list- this is subject to change 

Asia- Currently no countries on this list- note India and Malaysia were among countries removed from the list on 27th August 2021.

Europe- Currently no countries on this list

North America- Currently no countries on this list

Oceania- Currently no countries on this list
