TODAY: Clubs & Societies Sign Up Day!

Welcome to the best part of Student Life, our Clubs and societies!! - Sign Up here

Dear <<First Name>>, It is important that you make the most out of your time as a DBS student and immerse yourself in the “College Life”.

We have many different Clubs and Societies at DBS, so it would be close to impossible to find one that doesn’t spark your interest.

Did you know DBS has a long history of sporting success? Our men's basketball team are Varsity and Division 1 National Champions. Our men’s football team last season won 6 matches out of 7 and are awaiting the Cup starting this season.

Joining a Club or Society is probably one of the BEST things you can do during your time here. There are so many great benefits to joining a club or society – it is a great way to make friends, have some fun and also looks great on your CV too.

Is there a club or society that you’d really like to join but it doesn’t currently exist? Don’t worry! You can create your own club or society by simply speaking to the Students’ Union to start it up!

Email [email protected] for more info on Clubs or Socs

Need Clubs & Socs Leaders Wanted!

A couple of our Clubs & Societies are looking for new leaders and committee members this term. Here is a list of some of these that are looking to get going again;

  • Book Club

  • Data Analytics Society

  • Business Analytics Society

  • FinTech Society

  • Photography Society

  • Podcast Society

  • Yoga Society

  • Netflix Society

  • Harry Potter Society

There’s no better way to impress an employer than to show you’re willing to get involved, and gain skills outside the classroom. Every club has club executives that help organise events, look after their social media, manage finances and partake in making sure the club or society are running smoothly. Getting into one of these positions is a great way to build industry experience for your CV.

If you are interested and excited to embark on a new adventure, come up to the student Service Hub and talk to us . Don't forget to register for your Clubs & Socs this term.
