Graduation 2020 - Update 26th August 2020

Our plans for Graduation 2020 are progressing and at this stage, we can confirm the following;

Graduation ceremonies will be live online on the scheduled dates of 29th and 30th October. Exact details of which ceremony/programme and their respective dates will be released over the coming weeks.

Parchments will be available from mid October. We will contact graduates to arrange postage (fee will apply) or subsequent collection from DBS at a date tbc in 2021 to avoid bringing extra traffic into DBS during the current restrictions.

DBS are arranging with our Robe supplier, Phelan and Conan, the option for Graduates to book through them, a robe for the event, in the case where Graduates wish to arrange photographs on the day. More details on how to arrange booking will be sent in due course over the coming months.

Graduation 2020 - Update 7th July 2020

It is with great sadness that we are announcing  that DBS has taken the decision to cancel our conferring ceremonies scheduled for later in the year. This was a decision we have not taken lightly and these are exceptional times, where the safety of our staff, students and their families is of the utmost priority.
We are happy to advise that we are planning virtual graduation ceremonies for our Graduands to celebrate your achievements. Details of this are at an early planning stage, and we will update you more in August on the format.

Graduation ceremonies are the highlight of our academic calendar. They are the celebration of your academic achievements and is a milestone in your life, shared with your families and friends. Moving to a virtual ceremony was a difficult, but correct decision to make.

We hope our virtual ceremony will be something that you can enjoy, but more importantly, enjoy safely with your loved ones.
