A message from the Student Leap Card Team:

Dear students,

As you may be are aware the old Purple 2019-20 Student Leap Cards are now expired and many of your students may be in touch with you asking you how to get their new SLC. We wish to let you know that we have a new fully online verification system for students to get their new Blue 2020-21 Student Leap Card – all fully remotely and online.

Students can now apply, pay and be student verified online, without ever leaving their house. The student verification is done over zoom and then the card is sent out to the student in the post. See full details in this link below:  https://www.studentleapcard.ie/slc-online-system

We are already advertising online across multiple social platforms, yet we’d like to ensure every student in the country knows how to get their new card – and this is where you can help. We would be very grateful if you could inform your respective student bases of our new remote/online verification system, through your own channels/social platforms, if this is possible.   

As well as our system, Trinity College SU also have an online system in place where students can book a time to be verified online or be verified instantly by joining a live zoom call (no booking needed, 9am-5pm only).
