Study isn't just for the night before an assignment's due or the night before an important exam.

It's never too early – or too late – to develop good study habits. The sooner you get into a good study groove, the easier everything will be and the more your chances of getting good marks will improve.

Here are our top tips for getting the most out of study.

Study Tips & Tricks from the SU Education Team at DBS

  • Start now rather than later! The hardest part is to start. Everything will follow from here.
  • If you’re taking notes, use yellow paper, as research shows it increases memory retention.
  • Create the same atmosphere for studying as you will take during your online exams!
  • Study sessions should be in 30-45 minute chunks. Be disciplined here and make sure you set time for study breaks.
  • Protect your eyes using blue light glasses and most importantly, remember to indulge in self-care!
