12 female students from ICT Courses including MSc Data Analytics, MSc Information Systems and H Dip Fintech are participating in the Dell-STEM Aspire programme and attended their first session on Friday Jan 24th in Dell EMEA Head Offices in Cherrywood, Sandyford. 

The day consisted of a panel discussion by senior Dell executives who shared their career journeys and gave valuable career advice. There was also a site tour,  one to one sessions with individual mentors and presentations on CV development and interview prep.

The students will have access to their mentors until the end of the semester to assist them in their chosen career paths.

Stem Aspire is a mentoring programme connecting 3rd level female STEM students with female role-models within Dell with the objective of encouraging and empowering female students to graduate and to have successful and rewarding careers in the technology sector. DBS has the highest participation numbers in this programme intake.
