Our goal is to bring joy and excitement to campus. Our college takes great pride in the variety of diverse events and activities that the Students’ Union organizes to foster a lively and enjoyable campus community for all. 

Throughout the academic year, the Students’ Union run a large number of events, ranging from parties, networking events, wellbeing workshops, hikes, sports competitions and many more…There really is an event for everyone! These events are run by the students for the students with the aim to allow you to develop new skills, meet new people and make lifelong memories whilst keeping ticket prices as cost effective as possible.

The DBS Students’ Union is dedicated to creating the best possible experience for each individual student. They are continuously looking at new event ideas and take all student feedback into consideration when doing so.

Themed weeks

To enhance your college experience we have created an exciting calendar with themed weeks. Each week of the academic year is dedicated to a unique theme, offering a dynamic and immersive environment for learning, exploration, and fun. These themed weeks create a captivating atmosphere that encourages students to express their passions, expand their horizons, and forge meaningful connections with one another. 

Where can I register for College Events?

It is simple to register for College events, the Student Experience Team will show you how to do this during your induction. Here's how you can access event information and stay updated:

  1. Visit Eventbrite: Go to the Eventbrite website and search for DBS student experience team. You'll find a dedicated page featuring all our upcoming events.

  2. Browse through the event listings to find a wide range of activities we have organised for you, including guest lectures, workshops, Social networking events, parties, different activities and hikes. Click on individual events to view detailed information about dates, times, locations, and any fees associated with the event.

  3. Keep in mind that popular events may sell out quickly, so if you find an event you're interested in attending, it's a good idea to register as soon as possible.

  4. We maintain active social media accounts to keep all students informed about upcoming events, college information and clubs and societies. So follow our platforms, especially Instagram, to stay updated on event announcements, ticket releases, and any changes or additions to the event lineup.

Remember to check Eventbrite and our social media platforms regularly, as new events and updates will be announced throughout the academic year. With this, you can be sure you won't miss out on exciting events happening this year.
