Student Health and Wellbeing Workshops:

 

The Wellbeing Officer and the Student Union Welfare Team collaborate on campaigns and run workshops to educate students on various aspects of wellbeing and help students develop skills to promote better mental well-being.

Workshops include: 

  • Stress management techniques

  • Mindfulness

  • Selfcare

  • Managing Anxiety

SafeTALK: DBS offers staff and student training for SafeTALK , a suicide alertness training that helps participants recognise a person with thoughts of suicide and to connect them with resources that can help them.

Student Wellbeing Team: The SU wellbeing team is comprised of  current students who are passionate about destigmatising mental health and promoting wellbeing. They aim to foster a sense of community and belonging on campus for all students.
