by Shane Mooney | Feb 10, 2020

DBS continue to monitor the Coronavirus situation and advise all students at this time to postpone or defer travel to China and its associated territories (Hong Kong, Macao) until such time as the Irish Government give the all-clear to do so.

If you have recently been in mainland China or may have been in contact with Coronavurus:

Phone your local Department of Health if in the past 14 days you have:

  • returned from mainland China (this does not include if you have only been in Hong Kong or Macau).
  • been in contact with a person who has Coronavirus
  • been in a hospital or healthcare centre where people are being treated for Coronavirus.

If the unlikely event that it is confirmed that you have contracted the virus please advise the College immediately via e-mail at [email protected]

DBS is actively monitoring the advice being issued by the Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) and other Irish and International agencies and are following this advice. We will continue to issue updates as they become available.
