The cricket season kicked off this week with a tough challenge over local rivals TUD in a 30 overs match. DBS fielded first and our bowlers showed great pace and control while bowling during the showery spells and limited TUD to just 200 runs. This left DBS to chase a target of 201 runs to win. After some fine batting from our opening batsmen we had an excellent foundation for the rest of the afternoon. The sun stayed out for the remaining batsmen, who grinded down the runs to take the victory with 6 wickets remaining. A strong win for the DBS squad.

The guys will compete next week in the Intervarsity Semi-Finals (June 1-3rd) at College Green. More updates to follow.
