It is with great sadness that we have learned of the untimely death of one of our students, Ruman Ahmad. Ruman was studying in the Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence programme.

The College Community are shocked by this news and offer our condolences and support to Ruman’s family and wide circle of friends.

The Student Experience Team has support in place for students affected by this terrible news, please do not hesitate to contact student.services@dbs.ie or drop into the Student Services Hub on the 4th floor of Castle House.
From next Tuesday a Book of Condolence will be available for you to leave your sympathies, or simply to leave your memories of Ruman. This will be located in our Multi-Faith Room, beside Reception on the second floor of Castle House. The book will remain open for some time and then be sent to Ruman’s family.
