We are updating our processes regarding 1G Graduate Visa Letter requests to improve the speed and efficiency of getting your key documents.
Please note that the option to request a 1G Visa Letter has been removed from the helpdesk.
What this means for you
If you require documentation to apply for the Third Level Graduate Programme (Stamp 1G) with Irish Immigration (ISD), you no longer need to log a support ticket and wait for a manual letter to be drafted.
Instead, your essential graduation documents are now fully automated and delivered electronically, removing unnecessary delays and helping you secure your 1G visa swiftly without the stress of waiting for manual processing.
How to get your 1G graduate visa documents
-
Check your personal email for a Digitary notification:
Sent automatically upon results release. As soon as exam results are officially completed and ratified, your 1G graduate letter and final transcripts will be issued via the Digitary platform. This notification will be sent directly to your personal email address on file.
-
Access the Digitary platform and set up your account:
Available instantly. Log onto the Digitary platform using the link provided in your notification email to set up your account. Once registered, you will have instant, secure access to view and download your official academic transcripts and your 1G graduate letter.
-
Submit your digital documents directly to ISD:
No manual intervention needed. Present your automated transcripts and official 1G letter downloaded from Digitary directly to your Immigration Officer or upload them via the online immigration portal. These secure documents give ISD exact, verified proof of your graduation and eligibility for the Third Level Graduate Programme.
Important Reminder on Visa Compliance:
The Third Level Graduate Programme allows you to look for full-time employment in Ireland, but you must ensure you apply for your Stamp 1G change of status before your current Stamp 2 permission expires. Always verify current Irish Immigration (ISD) submission timelines via the official immigration portal and ensure your Digitary account is set up as soon as you receive your notification.
